Chatchavan "Noom" Tangmattakun, 36, and Visara "Anne" Ekahitanond, 35, are the pastors of the Rivers of Life Church in Bangkok, Thailand. Rivers of Life Church was birth just this year as Noom and Anne were inspired by God to pioneer a spirit-filled church in Thailand. |

Noom and Anne came to know Christ while they were studying in the United States in Seattle, Washington. Attending her first care group, Anne accepted Christ into her life that same night in 1993. One year later, her boyfriend at the time, Noom, accepted Christ in 1995. They attended New Hope International (previously known as Hope of Seattle) and were discipled, trained and taught the Bible.
Upon completing their overseas studies and responding to their heart's cry to reach out to the people in their homeland, Noom and Anne returned to Bangkok in 1997, where they continued serving in their local church, leading care groups and training disciples. There greatest joy is to see their friends and family and numerous Thai people come to know Christ. "God called us to save the loss souls in Bangkok and Thailand." In 2004, by the leading of the Holy Spirit, Noom and Anne stepped out in faith to start Rivers of Life Church in Bangkok, wanting everyone to experience the loving, healing and awesome power of God.
In addition to pastoring the church, Noom is working as an Assistant Managing Director for a shipping company and Anne is working as a lecturer at Bangkok University. They enjoy informal witnessing in their free time and hope to start a family soon. They wish to encourage everyone to: "Don't walk alone, invite the Holy Spirit to go with you." |
