Glory of God Church Glory of God Church opened its doors to the people of Nakorn Pathom, (the central part of) Thailand, on Sunday, January 2, 2005. At its grand opening, there were 15 people, about half were part of the church planting team and the others were guests. All were touched by the wonderful love and power of God in different ways-- through joy, tears, warmth, contrition and revelation.

One guest shared his story after the service about how he had a hardened heart and had never been touched by God. He came to the service without any invitation, only to see what was going on. When he noticed the people around him with faces full of joy, love and the glory of God, and when he saw the pastor full of love, warmth and gentleness, his heart was softened and changed. He plans to join the church. Two other guests also mentioned that they were touched by God's love and presence and plan to join Glory of God Church. Since then, this young and spirited church has been growing in both revelation from God and membership, with more than 30 people now attending service.
The church is being pastored by Marina 'Lek' Phichitphajongkit, a Thai woman who accepted Christ 13 years ago. In 2004, she joined Rivers of God Church in Bangkok, Thailand and was touched by the presence of God. Pastor Lek who has always had a hunger to seek and know God more, felt a burden and calling to reach out to the lost in her home town of Nakorn Pathom, and thus, Glory of God Church was born. Pastor Lek was anointed to become a pastor by Pastors Noom and Anne of Rivers of God Church. |
